Fallout 3 best PC RPG? What about games like Planescape: Torment and VtM: Bloodlines that aren't even in the list? 'nuff said about its credibility..

they are all newer games... not all new rpg are better then old... fallout 1 and 2 are much better then fallout 3 ((nothing aginst 3))

Dragon age: Origins first????!?!?!...you gottta be kidding me...that game is the worst fcking rpg i've ever layed my hands on...and by the way...where is gothic 2, oooor Risen?...C'mon man...mass effect?...fable?...When i play those games i feel retarded and i feel like someone is holding my hand throughout the whole freaking game...go here go there go here do this and that...everything is marked on the map...good rpg's are about choices than only you can make...good rpg's are about the fact the those choices you make can help you or screw you up and a good rpg is about exploring and looking for things that no one tells you where they are...this list is a complete miss.......
I never got into Fallout until Fallout 3 so I would have to say it deserves to be up there. Dragon Age: Origins isn't good enough for me though to be in a top ten. I just hate games like it. It looks and feels like a total point&click adventure which is a thing of the past. Point&click, besides for in Diablo and Neverwinter Nights is crap. Fallout 3, KOTOR and Oblivion are the all time best RPG's ever. Period.
Also, Mass Effect is definitely better than Baldurs Gate. I have no problem against older games, I think the best game of all time is FFVIII. Why isn't FFVIII on this list? Sure there isn't all the choice selections but still. What newer games really implant so many emotions into you? In a way voice casting isn't very good in games. Games like FFVIII allow you to make the biggest choice...HOW THE CHARACTERS ARE TALKING!

ok Dragon Age Origins is the real deal. A truly immersive RPG experience!
VtM is a good game, don't get me wrong, but the gameplay, as far as glitches and bugs go, is lacking. The concept was great, that the developers hurried the programmers was painfully obvious though.

Agreed... This list was clearly made by someone who has no knowledge about games whatsoever. And Diablo II is not even an RPG... :/

Dragon age is decent, but that's about it. Very vanilla, and has huge amounts of filler combat that make it stale about thirty minutes in.
Oblivion is also another overrated one. The level scaling in that game is ridiculous, you can rip through anything in the game when you start out, but at the later levels you'll get stomped to pieces (lol level 3 arena champion) unless you carefully micromanage your character. Every guild has the same quests (beat shit up), you don't even need magic to finish the mages' guide questline. NPC interaction consists of "yes I will help you", "no I won't", and an annoying minigame where you try to joke, coerce, boast, and admire someone ALL AT ONCE.
Planescape had horribly boring combat, so I guess that's why it is not on the list. But I would agree that in no way should Fallout 3 be on that list, and quite the same probably goes for Dragon Age, even The Witcher was more challenging, more interesting, less PG and better looking. Where is Fallout II, by the way? Not a Top 10 RPG, eh? Why? Too much genre-defining, too long, or too good for this list?

you guys dont get me wrong,but its impossible to make a list that makes everyone happy,imo this list is alright,there is no "best" rpg,but there are good ones and bad ones,i would say this list is full of games worth playing(my english is not so good,patience)
Oblivion better than Morrowind? Pff only when it comes down to graphics and AI, the atmosphere is nowhere near it.

Poor poor list. Where is Fallout 1 or 2, which were better than fallout 3 (loved 3 as well, but just not as good as it's predecessors)
I like this list.... fuckers, finished atleast half of em. Sure, not as memorable as some classics like diablo etc.... i tried to go back to FFVIII and games like Ultima, yeah fuckin awesome for their time but to play through now? Best of in the past as awesome memories..

Stonekeep was the best pc rpg ever and had good graphics for it's time.
world of warcraft is definately the best rpg but a few of these are not bad
The list was too short! Yes you need all the Fallouts, the Baldurs Gate series, Mass Effect series, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights series, Wizardry 8, Dragon Age Origins, KOTOR, Morrowind and Oblivion (for different reasons), Witcher, and the action rps like the Diablo series, Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege series, etc. Great games all! If you don't like one, play another.
I'm the Fallout series' biggest fan, but fallout 3 was the WORST of the 4 rpgs. Fallout 1, 2 or New Vegas deserve that spot.

i like old 2D rpg games much more than some new 3D games , and not all people love the same games every one have different tastes

listen the great game of RPG is KOTOR 1&2,Fable TLC,Dragon age 2,Mass Effect 123,Fallout depend by you maybe 1 2 or 3,Oblivion,Deus Ex,Last Remnat ,or do you has play Mount and Blade ,but there's lot of new game comming like MMORPG newest SW:The Old Republic,etc but i only like Fable TLC,Mass Effect 1&2 also KOTOR ,what i find is the Graphic & Storyline
