The Maw

review: This is a wacky game that's really fun (platforming action and puzzles) to play. It's friendly to get into and has a fun story, so even (Maw is generally good-natured) people new to gaming will enjoy it. There are some action and puzzle sequences that will be (role of Maw's best friend Frank) fun and challenging to classic gamers, too! So, people that like adventure (grab onto enemies) puzzles will like this. Some gameplay elements are even like Katamari - (manipulate objects) the Maw has to keep eating bigger things until he gets big enough to eat the (amorphous physique) next batch - so fans of Katamari will like this game. The Maw is so different than anything else on Arcade.

Electronic Arts has announced the release date for New Medal of Honor, October 12 in North America and October 15 in Europe for PC, Xbox360 and PlayStation 3.

Anno 1404: Venice (Dawn of Discovery: Venice)

review: This expansion brings on few new (Build two new Venetian ship types) trinkets to an already good game. First off you get (small and big tradesman cog) the italians who are out to backstab and spy on people. This has it's merit (develop secret cabinets) as it's nice to intice revolts in other peoples lands. Not a lot of new building choices though and no new (influence in the cities) campaign. It has some decent scenarios that will keep you busy for a bit (choose to play versus or co-op) but not 4 a game with some much content i did expect more. For instance (combining your techniques) why they did not have an entire new civilization to build on (up to 8 players) with new resources is beyond me. The maps could have been changed (60 new items) up a little some ice lands or jungle or something might (300 new quests) have added some flavour to the pot...
