IncGamers Since the onset of the current console generation EA’s Fifa has evolved into a true football lover’s game. Gone is the simplistic ‘pick-up-and-play’ nature that defined the series pre-2007, replaced by something altogether more in-depth, more complex, and more grown up. In its quest to replicate the real-life sport as accurately as possible Fifa has taken on an almost religious following of fans seeking the promised land of the perfect digital-beautiful game.

|TJP “FIFA 12 is everything what a football fan wants in a football game. The major striking difference is of course the “new” defending. You will feel like a stranger at first, but when mastered, FIFA 12 will become something that you know at the back of your hand. The passing is fine & fluid, but, it does indeed go pear-shaped when you clearly want to pass to Van Persie than Gervinho. EA have got the balance right, as it comes down to you, the player, to sort out “calamaties” you have caused yourself. FIFA 12 is a clear example that there is still more that can be offered in football games. I would go as far as labelling it “The Shining Becon” of all football games to follow suit of this nature.” Read Full Review||90/100|
|TrustedReviews While it will represent a challenge to existing FIFA fans, FIFA 12 is worth the effort. The new defence and player collision systems add to an already outstanding soccer simulation, and the new online features are smartly done. Unless you’re looking for a simple arcade kickabout, it’s hard to imagine a stronger football game. Read Full Review||90/100|
|BeefJack “EA Sports have made no secret of the fact they are very pleased with FIFA 12 – a game that’s been promised as a “revolution”, and not just the mere evolution that the annual football franchise is usually labelled with. Will we be saying Viva la FIFA, or will EA’s pre-match boasting cause them a major embarrassment? Find out in our huge review!” Read Full Review||85/100|
