GameInfo: Offspring Fling is a game about a poor forest creature that has misplaced all of her children. She’ll have to fight her way through over 100 levels of action puzzle platforming to get them all back home. There’s danger around every corner, but she won’t rest until her family is safe again.

Other indie sites have balked our our goody-too shoes approach, but we generally – with exceptions, naturally – oppose eating babies, even though we all know their sweet undeveloped juices are as tasty as god’s urine. IGM If you were to take the music from a Miyazaki film, the graphics from a GameBoy Advance era platformer and stuff it into a bulging suitcase that resembles a lovable Pokemon, you would get Kyle Pulver’s Offspring Fling, a light-hearted tale about a creature try to rescue its children from an expansive amount of levels filled with environmental dangers and cute predators. Default Prime The game is a nice little distraction, but it doesn’t seem to capture the 16-bit atmosphere it attempts to emulate. The graphics may be on par with the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (and in some cases, even better), but gameplay and level design-wise, it feels more at home on a Game Boy. Which actually makes one wonder why it wasn’t released for the iPhone, as it does seem perfect for short bursts. Read Full Review 60/100
