Review: I hated Bloodborne. You died way too much and had to wait an entire minute to wait for the loading screen to play again. Maybe the game was cool, but the waiting was unacceptable so I sold it after playing it for 2-3 hours. I don’t have time for that. If you are like me and wanted to like Bloodborne and wanted to PLAY THE GAME – a totally irrational request apparently – and not spend half your time staring at loading screens then you should try this game out. It seems to be nearly an exact copy of Bloodborne (99% the same game) so I would question why they were released only a week apart, but you don’t die as much and the loading screen is only about 5-10 seconds when you do die. I’ve had more fun in the first 30 minutes of Dark Souls II then I did in 3 hours of Bloodborne.
So if you just flat out hated everything about Bloodborne, do not buy this because you will hate it too. If you wanted to play Bloodborne, but got frustrated with the death frequency and loading screens then you will probably like this game.
