Logitech Gaming Software Breaks “8.72.107” – 7.1 Surround on G930 Headset

Surrond Fixed on 8.76 Lgs, but The G930 turns off automatically just after 10 minutes regular as clockwork.
Solution is here:

Step 1: Open up Device_Manifest.xml, which normally is located at: C:Program FilesLogitech Gaming SoftwareResourcesG930Manifest. This file can be opened with notepad.

Step 2: Look for “<battery turnOffInterval=”900”,
I imagine this is how many seconds it will wait before activating the auto shut off feature, which 60(secs) / 900 is 15 mins,
which is what the amount of time it seemed it was cutting off. Change this to “0”.

Logitech Gaming Software 8.75.30, 8.74.80 and 8.72 breaks the 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound functionality on the G930 headset. Still the Surround-Sound is NOT working! This was/is not a problem in LGS 8.70.

To “fix” it:

1. Uninstall the G930 drivers from the Device Manager.

2. Uninstall Logitech Gaming Software 8.72.107

3. Download LGS 8.70.315
