Critic Reviews

While XCOM 2 is definitely not for the faint of heart, people that do not give it a chance will be missing out one of the best strategy games of all time. The combat is unparalleled in its engagement. 100/100

XCOM 2 is everything a sequel should be, keeping the things that everyone loved about the first game while changing things up as much as possible. 90/100

With an unnerving sense of persistent tension and procedurally-generated maps that extend the value of every map, XCOM 2 survives the hype train with just a graze. 90/100

Power Unlimited
Because a few fine features from XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within didn’t make the cut, and other adjustments make the gameplay different, but not necessarily better, XCOM 2 isn’t the best sequel ever. Nonetheless it offers ridiculously addictive and extremely exciting turn-based tactics, which is unequaled even though the genre is becoming more and more popular lately. Accept no substitutes. 90/100

XCOM 2 offers to the public another big tactical turn-based strategic game with tons of options for the campaign mode and a great customization system for our soldiers. It’s a hardcore game that will delight fans of the series. 90/100

XCOM 2 manages to raise the stakes and challenge of its predecessor without ever becoming too frustrating. Defeat will be frequent and death even more so, but victory is all the more sweet for it. In short, it’s bigger, better, broader, and even more brutal! 90/100

XCOM 2 is a big success that delivers in just about every way you could ask for. Fans of the franchise or the strategy genre in general will love it. 90/100
