Microgaming is well known for its strict game release schedule. The company launches its new titles by the end of the first week of every month, no matter if it’s January or December. Sometimes it changes its schedule, most often adding new games to the lineup, but sometimes it delays the release of some games for unknown reasons. This will be the case this April, when Microgaming will only launch one of the two games it has planned.
This April, the company will launch its latest nursery rhyme themed video slot machine called Bar Bar Black Sheep. This will not be the first such game – Microgaming has released several Rhyming Reels slots in the past, including ones inspired by the tale of Georgie Porgie, or the one of Jack and Jill. But this time the game will be a special one, thanks to its amazing and very special bonus feature.
A farm-themed slot machine, Bar Bar Black Sheep is playful and entertaining – like the many others available at the Red Flush. But it has two special symbols – the Bar and the Black Sheep – that, when they spell out the game’s title, the special bonus of the game is triggered. The two Bar symbols and the Black Sheep turn into a mini slot machine inside the slot machine that spins automatically. When it stops, it reveals a number, which will be applied as a multiplier to the line bet, and be paid out. Which means that the maximum win can be 999 times the line bet – which can be a pretty amount.
The other game Microgaming planned to release in April – but delayed for May – is Win Sum Dim Sum, a five-reel slot machine inspired by the bite-sized delicacy from China. It is the spiciest Microgaming slot to hit the Red Flush so far, with dumplings, veggies and various other foods on its reels, steamed to perfection. The game will be a pretty standard video slot, with wilds, scatters and free spins in store for the players. But the wilds will come with a steaming hot surprise: when landing on reel 3 (reels 2, 3 and 4 during the free spins) they expand to cover the whole reel.
Since Microgaming doesn’t usually release a single game in a month, I don’t think these will be the only new games we’ll have the occasion to try in April and May. But until the announcements are made, we’ll just have to wait and see.
