Star Trek Online: Season 12 – Reckoning Now Available

Perfect World Entertainment Inc., a leading publisher of free-to-play MMORPGs, and Cryptic Studios announced Star Trek Online: Season 12 – Reckoning is now available on PC. The update
celebrates a very special milestone for the 100% free-to-play MMORPG based on the iconic Star Trek franchise, as the game celebrates its incredible 7th Anniversary. To commemorate this achievement, captains can experience a brand-new episode, featuring the debut of General Rodek, voiced by actor Tony Todd. Players will also complete daily missions to earn special rewards, including the new Lukari ship, which the community helped design last fall. Season 12 – Reckoning will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date.

Season 12 puts out a desperate call to captains across the galaxy to battle the powerful Tzenkethi, a highly-intelligent, militant warp-capable species. The mission begins when the Lukari set out on a journey to investigate some unusual activity in an unexplored region of the Alpha Quadrant. Upon further inspection, they discover data that suggests weaponized use of protomatter and request immediate assistance from the Alliance. Captains must work together with the Lukari to prevent a looming cataclysmic attack from the Tzenkethi.

These events all transpire in Season 12’s newest featured episode, “Of Signs and Portents.” The update also brings back Star Trek Online’s popular anniversary events and offers players new content to explore, including a challenging new reputation, two new space queues and new Research and Development school. A full list of features for Season 12 – Reckoning includes:

  • New Lukari Science Vessel – Captains can finally earn the community-designed T6 Lukari Ho’kuun Science Vessel by participating in daily anniversary missions and completing the new featured episode.
  • Two Daily Anniversary Missions –Completing “Omega Molecule Stabilization Daily” and “Party Patrol” each day will earn dilithium, reputation marks and pictures of Q, which must be collected to earn the new Lukari ship.
  • Omega Molecule Stabilization Mini-Game – Players can track down omega particles that Q has scattered across the galaxy and use them to craft upgrade kits.
  • New Featured Episode – In the brand new episode, “Of Signs and Portents,” captains team up with the Lukari to battle the Tzenkethi and earn rewards toward the new Lukari Science Vessel.
  • New Reputation – “The Lukari Restoration Initiative” allows players to earn marks toward weapons and gear infused with protomatter technology to defend themselves from the Tzenkethi.
  • New Crafting School Season 12 introduces a new Research School to the R&D System, allowing captains to create new kits and modules.
  • Two New Space Queues
    • “Gravity Kills” – Captains will lead an attack on a Tzenkethi protomatter facility and collect Hawking particles to drop their special defenses.
    • “The Tzenkethi Front” – Players will defend the Eta Serpentis system from a Tzenkethi attack by turning their protomatter weapons against them.
  • Full Space Battlezone – Captains will head out to the final frontier to lead an all-out war against the Tzenkethi, in an effort to stop the production and deployment of protomatter weapons.

Star Trek Online is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online game where players can pioneer their own destiny as Captain of a Federation starship, become a Klingon Warrior and champion the Empire through the far reaches of the galaxy, or rebuild the Romulan legacy as the commander of a Romulan Republic Warbird. In Star Trek Online, players have the opportunity to visit iconic locations from the popular Star Trek universe, reach out to unexplored star systems and make contact with new alien species. Star Trek Online is currently available on PC, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.

Resident Evil 7 Download Trainer and PC Review

I will be the first to admit that over the years, I much as I loved all the Resident Evil games, from the

very first one years ago, even all of the movies, that I lost interest in the games over time. This one looked very promising, and when I tried the demo I knew I was looking at something totally new, and something the devs had really spent some time on, and I spent literally hours getting lost in the world of the game while playing the demo.
Typically as it states, the codes are release at midnight Central Standard Time, and I am on Eastern Standard Time in east Tennessee, and usually do not receive my pre-order codes until around noon of the release day, but I was very surprised when my phone alerted me to an email at little past 12:30 that the code was available. As soon as I fired up my pc, I activated the code, and the actual download size was a little over 12GB and the installed folder is right now as of release without any updates or patches is exactly 22.8 GB. If you thought the demo was amazing, wait until you get the finished product! First off, the first person point of view is simply amazing and makes you feel like you are actually lost in the world of madness and in the house yourself, I suggest playing in the dark! There are always super creepy surprises, but when you would think they are going to try and scare you, they don’t and when you let your guard down…there it is! I still have not found any weapons yet, and am still collecting items and clues, but the family in the house is nothing short of creepy and down right sickening! I can’t wait until I actually get to fight! The only down fall to the game is some of the clues or keys you have to find to get our of parts of the house or certain rooms, can at times, as much as I love this game, can get very tedious and annoying after so long, but that does not stop the fact that this is an amazing new addition to the Resident Evil series! As for the graphics, I am running 2 Nividia Titan X’s in SLI mode on a 27″ 4K monitor and this game looks simply stunning! Simply put, this game is amazing!

RPG Fantasy Adventure Narborion Saga Coming To Steam in March

Epic Fantasy Adventure Makes The Jump From Tablet and Mobile To PC via Steam Greenlight.

Indie developer Liber Primus Games today announced that its RPG fantasy adventure, Narborion Saga is coming to Steam for PC in March. The PC version will provide an entirely new interpretation of the game totally unique to the PC platform having previously been released on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, iTouch as well as Amazon Kindle and Android on Google Play in December 2014.

Narborian Saga is an epic fantasy story written by Dr Tom Pollak, a professional novelist and former editor of Dragon, the popular Dungeon’s and Dragon’s role playing game magazine. Narborion Saga aims to immerse players into the world of an elaborate RPG fantasy through three major quests set within the same narrative. Players will command the fate of the story’s hero through dynamic non-linear storytelling and rogue-like dungeon exploration. The tale begins with a quest to find and rebuild the chapel of a long-forgotten Goddess and defeat the Master Vampire, Lord Malbor, agent of the God of Death and Magic. The second quest, The God of Orcs, players will need to delve deep into the forces of darkness to uncover a conspiracy of leadership with the mysterious new god of orcs. The third quest, The Swamp of a Thousand Paths tests players even further in an adventure to the Coastless Lake to destroy an ancient Wyrm in search of important artifacts.

“We’re excited to have successfully greenlit Narborion Saga on Steam to a PC audience,” said writer Dr Tom Pollak. “PC allows us to bring an entirely unique version of the series with dynamic rogue-like elements into the narrative to reach a whole new audience of fans”.

The PC version of Narborion Saga for Steam combines three main RPG quests and aims to double the amount of different weapons and armour available to players.Player Vs Player combat through duelling and the ability to learn spells will provide players with the opportunity to develop character abilities. The game will receive an entirely new visual look and chapters will no longer appear one after the other, like in a traditional gamebook, but are broken into small episodes and placed as locations on the game map.

Also unique to the PC version will be Map-based movement: to reach these episodes, players move their character on an overland map and several smaller maps (city maps, swamp, map of the dark forest). Whenever there’s something to do or discover, characters leave the map and enter a gamebook-styled narrative section.

Also as part of the visual upgrade in the move to PC the battle screen no longer looks like the empty tactical grid like it did before, trees, bushes, columns, campfires now embellish the battlefield, these elements, however, can also block the line-of-sight of archers, so movement is more important than ever.

Further details of the PC version will be revealed in February ahead of its launch in late March.
