The company is aiming to release Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment for the Switch, sometime in March. While the other platforms are looking at a later day, April at the soonest. The reason for the delay is that Yacht Club wanted to focus on the Switch version first since the Switch is a new system. The other systems they have down already and will take less time getting the update pushed out to.

This is definitely great news to hear and I can’t wait to get my hands on the newest expansion. Speaking of which, perhaps it’s time to bust out some Shovel Knight again. No word if Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment will make an appearance at PAX East 2017 as of yet. As soon as we find out, you’ll find out.
